Every transition in 'Happy Ending' enhances the story-telling: Makers

Yash Puri of 'Shaakunthalam' fame is now coming up with a film titled 'Happy Ending'. Apoorva Rao acted as the heroine in this film, which will hit the screens on February 2. Its trailer launch event was held today in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, story-writer and director Kaushik Bhimidi thanked the media. He also said that chief guest and filmmaker Venu Udugula, who is known for Sai Pallavi's 'Virata Parvam', is an inspiration.

Editor Pradeep R Moram said, "A young team has made this film possible. I have worked on this project since the ideation stage. I am so grateful for believing me. Usually, editors come into the picture only after the shoot is over. Every transition and cut you see in 'Happy Ending' propels the story-telling in some way."

Cinematographer Ashok Seepalli said, "Most of us are debutants who have given their best to entertain the audience."

Music director Ravi Nidamarthi began his speech by thanking producers Yogesh Kumar, Sanjay Reddy, and Anil Pallala. "The audio album wouldn't have been this good had it not been for director Kaushik's vision. The performances are terrific," he added. Producer Anil described 'Happy Ending' as a coming-of-age rom-com. "You can expect the best in terms of content. It is a fine film in terms of visuals, sonic quality and the rest of the crafts," he added.

Ajay Ghosh, Vishnu, Jhansi, Anita Chaudhary, Harsh Roshan, Jiya Sharma, Vamsi Nekkanti, KMM Mani, Kamal Tumu, and others are doing the romantic drama. Going by the film's trailer, its scenes are filled with youth-friendly situational comedy with a tinge of quirkiness.
