It has been reported that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had Sara Ali Khan audition for the character of Zoya in 'Animal'. For the unversed, Zoya is the girlfriend of Vijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor) in the Bollywood blockbuster. The reports have claimed that Sara was rejected by the director because he didn't find her suitable. He then roped in Tripti Dimri, who has become a social media crush of sorts since the movie's release in theatres on December 1.
Following the publication of the gossip by several portals and media houses, Sara's PR team seems to be trying to do some image management. They told a few media houses that Sara never auditioned for 'Animal' in the first place.
