Sandeep Reddy Vanga is finally happy with an 'Animal' review. The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer has been panned by most of the Bollywood media, which surely must have left Vanga sort of angry. The director, however, is glad that Ram Gopal Varma gave him a glowing review.
"I believe no other director has contributed to Indian cinema more than Mr Ram Gopal Varma did.... Film Animal review from my all time favorite director. Excluding a couple of things written in his own style, I am really grateful for all the love," the 'Arjun Reddy' maker wrote a while ago on Twitter.
In his review, RGV felt that Sandeep has given an electric shock to all those filmmakers who got stuck in a template-driven style of filmmaking. "He has done it by ripping off their clothes and making them even more naked than he did with Ranbir in the film, and he just with a broom stick scooped up all their mediocrity and threw it in a garbage can (sic)," RGV wrote.
Varma further said, "For me the character of Ranbir hit me like a thunderbolt when he says a simple line 'Happiness is a decision' with a strange mix of both innocence and conviction (sic)."
