Nitin Gadkari, the current Minister for Road Transport & Highways, is one of the tallest BJP leaders from Maharashtra. There was a time when he was expected to become the Chief Minister of the State.
The news is that a Marathi-language biopic on the Union Minister has been made. Its teaser was released today. The film will hit the screens on October 27. Directed by Anurag Rajan Bhusari, the teaser shows Gadkari addressing a public rally where saffron flags are held by an enthusiastic crowd.
Produced by Akshay Anant Deshmukh and presented by Abhijeet Majumdar, the biopic is least likely to gain any traction outside a niche segment. Outside Maharashtra, nobody might talk about it unless the BJP IT cell takes a special interest in promoting some video clips ahead of the 2024 General Elections. The IT cell will do it with the intention of promoting the Narendra Modi government as one of the most infrastructure-friendly governments.
Gadkari has received praises from analysts for boosting the highway construction mission in recent years.
