Days after visiting the famous Vaishno Devi Temple in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan today offered prayers at the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati. He was there with his 'Jawan' co-star Nayanthara, his daughter Suhana and his manager Pooja Dadlani.
SRK awaits the release of 'Jawan' on September 7. Directed by Atlee, the film is gearing up for a Rs 40-Cr nett. on Day in India. This will be huge.
Estimates say that 'Jawan' will most likely earn more than what 'Pathaan' and 'Gadar 2' did in recent months. 'Pathaan' remains the biggest hit in SRK's career.
'Jawan' is a litmus test for director Atlee, who is making a gigantic Bollywood debut this month. If the film becomes a blockbuster, he will enter a different league. And SRK will have outdone Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar with ease.
The Telugu version of 'Jawan' will clash with 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty'. Despite the clash, the advance bookings are expected to be very good for 'Jawan' in Telugu.
SRK is also doing Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The film co-stars Taapsee Pannu and others.
