Jr NTR is widely regarded as a popular action star, and his role in 'RRR' made him all the more popular in Hindi. During a recent interview, Bollywood director Anil Sharma discussed the one potential actor who could portray the character of Tara Singh in 'Gadar 2,' aside from Sunny Deol.
The senior director chose Jr NTR, who he said would have surely suited the part. “There is no one in the Hindi film industry who can play Tara Singh among the young stars. Down South, Jr NTR would have been apt," he said.
'Gadar 2' is one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Indian cinema. It has netted more than Rs 600 Cr at the box-office.
Tarak is doing 'Devara'. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, 'Devara' has Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine. Saif Ali Khan is playing the main villain. Recently, on the occasion of the birthday of the 'Adipurush' actor, a poster was released.
