Rana Daggubati says sorry to Bollywood actress

On Sunday, Rana Daggubati publicly said that the behavior of a Bollywood actress on the sets of a Hindi film was unprofessional. He added that her behavior put him off. Since Rana said that Dulquer Salmaan was its hero, Netizens started a guessing game. They tagged Sonam Kapoor and trolled her. He didn't name the film and the year either.

On Tuesday, Rana suggested that he is sorry about the speech. He apologized to the actress and the 'Sita Ramam' star as well.

"I am genuinely troubled by the negativity that has been aimed at Sonam due to my comments, that are totally untrue and were meant entirely in a light-hearted manner. As friends, we often exchange playful banter, and I deeply regret that my words have been misinterpreted," the 'Baahubali' star wrote today.

"I hope this clarification puts an end to any speculation and misunderstanding. Thank you for your understanding," he further added.
