'Partner', the Telugu-dubbed Tamil movie, is slated to hit the screens on August 25. Its trailer is out. Written and directed by Manoj Damodharan, the sci-fi comedy is partly inspired by the premise of Mahesh Babu's 'Nani'. In 'Nani', a child turned into a 28-year-old man, thanks to the intervention of a scientist. In 'Partner', a male person (Yogi Babu) turns into a beautiful female person (Hansika Motwani) after a formula accidentally gets injected into his body in a science lab.
The trailer shows the male lead, played by Aadhi Pinisetty, being taken aback to find that his roomie has become a woman overnight. His girlfriend, played by Plaak Lalwani, starts believing that he is running an affair.
With music by Santhosh Dhayanidhi, the film also features Pandiarajan, Robo Shankar, John Vijay, Ravi Mariya, and Tiger Thangadurai. The cinematography is by Shabeer Ahammed.
The film will clash with Varun Tej's 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna' (straight), Kartikeya Gummakonda's 'Bedurulanka 2012' (straight), 'Hostel Boys' (dubbed), and a couple of other films in the last week of this month.
