RKD Studios, which is involved in distributing/releasing Bollywood movies, is going to bring out 'Bholaa Shankar' in theatres on August 25. Yes, the Chiranjeevi-Meher Ramesh starrer is going to be released in Hindi on that date. This is happening although the action entertainer is a disaster in Telugu. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has completed dubbing for Chiru in the Hindi version.
It is estimated that the deal to dub the movie and release it in Hindi was completed before August 11, when the Telugu version hit the screens. AK Entertainments and RKD Studios entered into the deal in the hope that the entertainment quotient will be liked by the Hindi audience in B and C centres.
Chiru's fans on social media are urging the studio to drop the plan to release the movie in Hindi. It is least likely that 'Bholaa Shankar' will find traction in the Hindi market, given the horrendous content.
Meanwhile, there are rumours that Anil Sunkara is going to team up with Chiru for another movie in 2024. The 'Acharya' actor, meanwhile, is reportedly heading to another city within India or to some other country for knee surgery later this month.
