Knowing fishermen's body language was a learning experience: Naga Chaitanya

Recently, actor Naga Chaitanya and the core team of his 23rd film were in K Matcheleasam, a small village in Gara Mandal in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. They were there to interact with the fishermen's community. Calling it the NC23 Expedition, GA2 Pictures suggested that it was a much-needed journey before the commencement of the shoot of the untitled movie in which Chay will be seen as a boatman.

"It was a great experience meeting the fishermen and their families in Srikakulam, hearing out their experiences, understanding their land was a great start to building my character," wrote the 'Thank You' and 'Custody' actor, who enjoyed noticing the body language of the villagers, their lifestyle and the texture.

Producer Bunny Vas said that director Chandoo Mondeti insisted that the pre-production should be done in a more intense way by studying the people and the atmosphere in which fishermen live.

On his part, the 'Kartikeya 2' director added that every minute detail has been observed.

The film will hit the screens in the second half of 2024.
