Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yoshimasa Hayashi, has said that his favourite star from 'RRR' is Jr NTR. During a panel discussion with India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, the Japanese dignitary mentioned Tarak's name.
"There are two stars in the movie. My personal favourite is Rama Rao Jr," the dignitary said.
But the host and India's Minister confused Rama Rao Jr for Ram Charan. The Japanese dignitary clearly didn't mention Mega Power Star's name. The song 'Naatu Naatu' also came in for mention as he made favourable comments about the Nandamuri actor.
It's telling that the performance by the 'Aravindha Sametha' actor has been liked by many foreigners. His acting in the song 'Komaram Bheemudo' played a significant role in the same.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, 'RRR' hit the cinemas in March 2022.
Jr NTR is currently doing 'Devara'. The Koratala Siva directorial will hit the screens on April 5, 2024.
