'LGM', a romantic comedy released in Tamil and Telugu today, is headlined by Harish Kalyan, Ivana, and Nadhiya. Standing for 'Let's Get Married', the film has been produced by MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni. Sakshi is one of the writers of the film.
The film has been described as nonsensical and absurd. "'LGM' is the equivalent of a Dhoni innings at the crease without any boundaries or sixes. The audiences are left probing for some semblance of a storyline and performance," wrote The Hindu in its critical review.
Times of India said that a big drawback is the "inconsistency in the color tone and awkward camera angles, which at times give us the feel of a short film."
India Today published the most scathing review. "The story remains stagnant for over two whole hours. Harish Kalyan, Ivana and Nadiya’s characters do not converse at all. They just stare. You stare at them and every sin you have committed flashes in your mind," the reviewer wrote, adding that 'LGM' is year 2023's most nonsensical film.
