Superstar Krishna is truly a legend of sorts who is known for introducing many firsts in Telugu film industry. He is the first Telugu hero to launch an exclusive spy thriller called Gudachari 116 with Jayalalithaa as the heroine. The movie created a sensation and one of the songs in the film Manasu Teera was a raging hit. However, not many know that this song was inspired by vintage compositions of that era.
One was a French composition by Dalida Les enfants du pirée and other one was a Greek Song from Melina Mercouri - Ta Pedia tou Pirea (aka Never on Sunday).
