This week, about six films hit the screens in Telugu: 'Rangabali', 'Bhaag Saale', 'Rudrangi', 'Circle', 'O Saathiya' and '7:11 PM'. Two of these films featured budding actors trying to enter the Tier-3 set of actors.
We are talking about MM Keeravani's son Sri Simha Koduri and Sai Ronak, the heroes respectively of 'Bhaag Saale' and 'Circle'.
Incidentally, both of them have done a more or less equal number of movies. Sri Simha proved his mettle with 'Mathu Vadalara', his debut movie. Surprisingly, with each passing movie, the quality of his acting has been falling. He couldn't get the beats of his character right in 'Thellavaarithe Guruvaaram' and 'Dongalunnaru Jaagratha', his second and third films. In 'Bhaag Saale', he fails to evoke laughs in the role of a daydreaming chef.
Sai Ronak, who was seen in films like 'Rajahyogam' and 'Popcorn' previously, struggles to emote in 'Circle'. He seriously needs to go back to the drawing room. He is handsome. And his sophisticated appearance proves advantageous in the realm of romantic encounters and passionate moments in his movies. That's the one compliment worth bestowing upon him.
