JD Chakravarthy has worked with anchor-turned-artist Vishnupriya on an upcoming web series titled 'Dayaa'. It will be streamed soon on Disney Plus Hotstar.
A rumour has gone out that JD and Vishnupriya fell in love with each other on the sets of the digital release and that they are going to get married. The gossip was fuelled by Vishnupriya's innocuous remark during a TV show that she is ready to marry JD if he is willing. She probably meant to show admiration for the senior actor's nature and talent.
In his latest interview, JD described Vishnupriya as one of the very good human beings he has come across. However, they are not seeing each other. "The nature of the relationship between us is that of a teacher and a disciple. Vishnupriya was asked to watch my movies by director Pavan Sadineni during the making of 'Dayaa'. She watched my movies one after another and liked my work. That's all there is to it," JD said.
JD added that if there is any colleague with whom he exchanges minimal interaction on the phone, it is Vishnupriya.
