Star producer was least interested to introduce his son!

Abhiram Daggubati is going to debut in theatres with 'Ahimsa' on June 2. The film's pre-release event was held on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, director Teja revealed a secret. Producer D Suresh Babu was least interested in his son becoming an actor. "When I pitched the story of 'Ahimsa' to Suresh Babu garu, he asked me why I wanted to work with his son. He asked me to abandon the idea (in a disinterested mood). The same night, he greenlit the project. After watching the rushes of 'Ahimsa', he expressed his dissatisfaction (about how the film was shaping up)," Teja said, much to everyone's shock.

It has been evident that Suresh Babu didn't want Abhiram to take up acting. In 2020, Abhiram told a TV channel that his late grandfather, Ramanaidu, was the one who wanted to see him as an actor. Suresh Babu supported Teja wholeheartedly only after he learned that it was his late father's wish that Abhiram be introduced by the 'Nuvvu Nenu' director.

This June 2, Abhiram's film will face competition from 'Pareshan', which is a release by Rana Daggubati. Isn't it odd that the elder brother is making the competition stiff for his own brother?
