Celebrations for Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao's 100th birthday took place on Sunday in Vijayawada at the NTR Vigyan Trust and Devineni Nehru Charitable Trust. The ceremony's guest, Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi, criticised those claiming to be NTR's heirs. "It is a great pleasure to celebrate NTR's centenary in the heart of Vijayawada," stated Lakshmi Parvati on this occasion. “I'm done battling to right the wrongs done to NTR. Nobody gave a damn about my misery. As NTR's successors, someone is beating the cans. Just because you were born to him does not automatically make you their heir; rather, the genuine heirs are those who supported NTR all the way to the end. NTR was only supported by Devineni Nehru until his very last breath. Devineni is his true heir,” she said.
“Even Lokesh, who can't even speak, says that I am the heir. How on earth could these miscreants, who defrauded NTR, inherit? There is no one as low as Chandrababu. NTR was very hurt by Chandrababu's back injury. Chandrababu insulted NTR many times. The inclusion of NTR's name and image by Chandrababu is unlawful," she attacked the Nara family, claiming that Chandrababu was responsible for burying NTR's goals.
She praised the chief minister, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, for naming a district after NTR and referred to him as the best person. She remarked, "CM Jagan upheld my personality, and I will be forever grateful to him for that."
