Weaving an anthology on a single emotion sounds interesting and director Prabhala Tilak attempted something like that. With four stories titled Benefit Show, Food Festival, An Afternoon Nap and Helmet Head, the cast included the likes of Venkatesh Maha, Suhas, Madonna Sebastian, Bindu Madhavi, Phani Acharya, Tharun Bhascker, Ravindra Vijay and others.
On the plus side, the performances from most of the cast have scored brownie points and the portrayal of anger as an emotion was good. As for the stories, Benefit Show and Food Festival have scored while the other two failed to create that impact due to a lot of lag in narration and unconvincing ending.
On the technical side, music scores best marks while cinematography and production values come second. Editing failed to score any and dialogues were good in the first story. The emotional quotient was deep in the first two stories while the last two were not able to generate the same effect. Overall, the attempt by the director is something new but it is evoking mixed reactions as the presentation aspect was not that impressive. However, since it is an OTT release the response is expected to be good given the cast which has prominent names in it.
