The Cult Gang Returns: Tharun Bhascker and Vishwak Sen Unveil the High-Energy Trailer of ‘ENE Repeat’; Releasing November 19
The cult-classic gang that redefined buddy comedies in Telugu cinema is officially back in action. The much-anticipated sequel to Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, titled ‘ENE Repeat’, has officially launched its theatrical trailer, locking in a worldwide release date for November 19.
Written and directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, the sequel reunites the fan-favorite core ensemble of Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, Venkatesh Kakumanu, and Srinath Maganti. Bankrolled by Srujan Yarabolu and Sandeep Nagireddy under the banners of S Originals and Root Node Cinema, the trailer launch event in Hyderabad brought together the entire cast and crew alongside special guests.
Tharun Bhascker: “Made with Pure Passion and Positive Energy”
Speaking at the trailer launch, writer-director Tharun Bhascker reflected on the emotional weight of crafting a sequel to a cult milestone:
“After the success of Pelli Choopulu, whenever I wondered what kind of film to make next, I looked at the four friends who always stood by me through thick and thin—that inspired Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. For the sequel, our biggest competition was the audience's high expectations. We wanted this trailer to feel like an epic extension of the original world. It is a film made with immense positive energy, and I promise you can walk into theaters with your families and enjoy every minute.”
Hero Vishwak Sen, who reprises his role as Vivek alongside his adventurous gang, added:
“Tharun has poured his heart and soul into ENE Repeat. While watching the trailer, it felt nothing short of magic. You will laugh, you might shed tears of joy, and above all, you will experience a wild ride.”
What to Expect from ‘ENE Repeat’
Picking up right where the original left off, the narrative follows Vivek and his friends as they embark on an unhinged, chaotic journey to shoot a wild survival film.
The Original Gang & Fresh Additions: Alongside Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam (Kaushik), Venkatesh Kakumanu (Uppu), and Srinath Maganti (Karthik) return with their trademark banter. The sequel also expands its universe by introducing Shivathmika Rajashekar, Priyadarshini Ram, and Anisha Ambrose in key roles.
Technical Brilliance: Vivek Sagar returns with an energetic, pulse-pounding background score that amplifies the film's madness, complemented by slick cinematography by A.J. Aaron.
