Dil Raju’s SVC Bags AP, TG & Karnataka Theatrical Rights for Naga Chaitanya’s Mythical Thriller ‘Vrushakarma’
In a significant trade development ahead of the year-end box office clash, ace producer-distributor Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical distribution rights of Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya’s high-concept mythical thriller ‘Vrushakarma’ across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. The deal, closed via Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) for an undisclosed, record sum, serves as a strong industry endorsement of the film's theatrical prospects.
Directed by Karthik Dandu (Virupaksha fame), Vrushakarma is jointly produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (SVCC) in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, and presented by Bapineedu. The film is locked for a grand worldwide theatrical release on December 4.
Record Pre-Release Business and Monumental Production Scale
Mounted as the most expensive production in Naga Chaitanya’s career, Vrushakarma has already rewritten his pre-release commercial benchmarks across theatrical and non-theatrical verticals.
The story delves into ancient lore, deep-rooted mythology, and paranormal investigation. Reinforcing the project's visual ambition, the makers recently dropped a behind-the-scenes video highlighting a colossal, custom-built underground cave set that serves as the backdrop for a critical sequence. The meticulous world-building and previous teaser cuts have created palpable excitement among genre buffs and trade circles alike.
