A Voice for the Common Man & A Battle Against Menace: V.V. Vinayak and Chandrabose Back Dharmasthala Niyojakavargam!

Blending intense political rivalry, hard-hitting social commentary against the scourge of narcotics, and mass family emotions, the upcoming action-drama Dharmasthala Niyojakavargam is gearing up for a grand nationwide theatrical rollout. Produced by Merum Bhaskar under the Moving Dreams India Private Limited banner and directed by debutant Jai Gnana Prabha Thota, the film is set to hit screens on September 4, 2026, with a wide release across PVR and INOX multiplex chains.

Marking the promotional crescendo, the makers hosted a vibrant pre-release event in Hyderabad, graced by star filmmaker V.V. Vinayak as the chief guest alongside Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose.

"Chandrabose Wrote Songs Without Taking a Single Rupee" – V.V. Vinayak

Recalling the early days of his own directorial blockbuster Aadi, blockbuster director V.V. Vinayak showered praise on the film's noble intentions and disciplined execution:

"Chandrabose called me and spoke passionately about this project. He told me that director Jai Gnana Prabha has mounted a sincere, hard-hitting film addressing the drug menace. Chandrabose loved the story so deeply that he penned all the songs without taking a single rupee in remuneration!

Hearing him speak with such conviction convinced me that this film carries genuine substance. Chandrabose penned the very first song for my debut film 'Aadi', and he has now written for Gnana Prabha’s debut venture as well. I wholeheartedly wish this film achieves a massive success on that same level."

"Gave Me the Same Creative High as Rangasthalam" – Oscar Winner Chandrabose

Highlighting the philosophical depth and situational richness of the narrative, lyricist Chandrabose stated:

  • Five Soulful Tracks: Described his work on the album—featuring tracks like ‘Nyayam Cheyara Deva’, ‘Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah’, ‘Arambham’, ‘Koduko Koduko’, and ‘Kaalam’ set to music by Mahaveer Elender—as one of his most satisfying career experiences since Rangasthalam.
  • The Core Conflict: "Within every human being lies both a noble soul and a dark side. The ideological clash between these two extremes forms the backbone of this story, and the director has translated that onto screen with raw conviction."

Debut Feat & Veteran Powerhouse Ensemble

  • Hero Nataraj’s Sincere Launch: Stepping into Tollywood as a leading man, Nataraj (son of seasoned actor Satyaprakash) expressed gratitude to the team, dedicating the movie as "a story of the common man, created by common people, for the common man."
  • Sai Kumar in a Commanding Avatar: Veteran actor Sai Kumar praised the director for offering him a powerful, meatier role, emphasizing that the script delivers punchy entertainment with a meaningful takeaway for contemporary youth.
  • Kasturi in a Rare Antagonistic Shade: Breaking away from her motherly and comedy characters, senior actress Kasturi (Annamayya, Gruhalakshmi fame) shared her excitement about playing an unconventional negative role.
  • Vithika Sheru’s Solid Comeback: Marking her return after a hiatus, actress Vithika Sheru lauded the crew’s unwavering discipline, noting that the cast was on sets as early as 6:00 AM daily without demanding special luxuries.
  • Producer Merum Bhaskar & Director Jai Gnana Prabha: Commended the entire technical team for finishing the project strictly on schedule without spilling over a single additional shooting day.
With strong endorsements from industry veterans, a meaningful anti-drug stance, and multiplex distribution steered via PVR and INOX, Dharmasthala Niyojakavargam is set to deliver an impactful theatrical watch on September 4, 2026.
