Produced by Kona Venkat under the Kona Film Corporation banner and presented by Mango Mass Media, the upcoming film Band Melam is creating significant waves. Directed by Satish Javvaji, the movie features the young pair Harsh Roshan and Sridevi in lead roles.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the film’s glimpse was launched digitally by the "Maatala Mantrikudu" Trivikram Srinivas. To mark the occasion, a press meet was held in Hyderabad with successful director Bobby (K.S. Ravindra) and writer BVS Ravi as chief guests.
A Future Star in the Making: Director Bobby
Director Bobby expressed immense confidence in the film’s lead actor, comparing his potential to established stars.
"I insisted that the glimpse be released on Valentine’s Day. After watching it, I immediately got Roshan's number to congratulate him. He acts with such coolness; I see him becoming a massive star. If I ever direct a love story, Roshan will definitely be my hero," Bobby remarked.
He also praised Sridevi’s performance and the unique writing of Satish Javvaji, noting that the dialogue and conviction in the teaser suggest a blockbuster in the making.
The "Ninnu Kori" Connection: Producer Kona Venkat
Veteran writer-producer Kona Venkat drew parallels between this film and his previous hit, Ninnu Kori.

The Instinct: Kona revealed that he felt the same emotional spark with Satish Javvaji’s script as he did when Shiva Nirvana narrated Ninnu Kori in 2017.

The Dialogue: The producer highlighted a powerful dialogue from the glimpse—"If tying a thali (wedding thread) is meant for staying together, it shouldn't be for someone who left in the middle; it should be for the one who has been with me since childhood." This line was the deciding factor for him to produce the film.
