Originally released in 1989 and produced by Annapurna Studios with Akkineni Venkat and Surendra Yarlagadda, Shiva remains a landmark movie that reshaped Indian cinema, splitting its history into ‘Before Shiva’ and ‘After Shiva’ eras.
Nagarjuna shared, “My father always believed cinema could transcend generations. Shiva is one such timeless classic. Bringing it back to theaters in a fully remastered 4K Dolby Atmos version this November 14 is a tribute to his vision of eternal storytelling.” This iconic cult-classic, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, will feature a remastered soundscape—upgraded from the original mono mix to advanced Dolby Atmos—thanks to cutting-edge AI engineering, setting a new technical benchmark for Indian re-releases.
