National Award-winning superstar Dhanush is set to entertain audiences with his upcoming film "Idli Kottu." This marks his fourth directorial venture, a prestigious project produced by Akash Bhaskaran under the Wunderbar Films and Dhanush Pictures banners. The promotional content released so far has already received a spectacular response. The film is scheduled for a grand release simultaneously in both Telugu and Tamil on October 1, 2025.
The Telugu distribution rights for the film were highly sought after, with several parties competing for them. Ultimately, Sri Vedakshara Movies secured the rights for the highest price ever in Dhanush's career. Producer Ramarao Chintapalli will be releasing the film on a massive scale in the Telugu states. According to Chintapalli, they are planning a highly aggressive promotional campaign to ensure the film reaches the widest possible audience.
The film features a stellar cast including Nithya Menen as the heroine, with prominent roles played by Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, and Rajkiran. The technical team is equally impressive, with a list of top technicians on board, including renowned composer G.V. Prakash Kumar for the music. Kiran Kaushik is handling the cinematography, Prasanna GK is the editor, Jacky is the production designer, and action choreography is by master Peter Hein.
The movie is ready for a worldwide release in both Telugu and Tamil.
