The romantic comedy "Little Hearts," starring Mouli Tanuj and Shivani Nagaram, is celebrating a huge success. Directed by Sai Marthand and produced by Aditya Hasan, the film received a worldwide theatrical release from distributors Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati. To mark the occasion, a grand success event was held in Hyderabad with actors Adivi Sesh and director Maruthi as the chief guests.
Adivi Sesh's Heartfelt Praise
Adivi Sesh shared his deep appreciation for the film, calling it his "favorite film." He spoke about the film's charm, saying, "I wrapped up my shoot early just so I could watch 'Little Hearts,' and I enjoyed it just like everyone else. Beyond the comedy, there's an innocence in the film." He lauded the performances of the lead pair, particularly noting Shivani's portrayal. "Initially, I felt she looked a bit older than Mouli, but after watching the film, I understood why she was cast. She delivered a strong performance as Khatyayani."
Sesh was especially impressed with the director, Sai Marthand. "Sai Marthand worked tirelessly for over a month, putting in 16-hour days," he said. He praised the director's humble demeanor despite the film's success and highlighted his craftsmanship, especially the "heart-touching scenes" in the second half. Adivi Sesh concluded his speech by publicly stating, "I'd love to do a film under his direction."
The Power of Small-Budget Films
Veteran director Maruthi spoke about the film's broader impact on the industry. "The success of 'Little Hearts' once again proves that small films can make it big," he stated. "There used to be a fear that audiences wouldn’t come to theaters for small-budget movies, but this film has brought family audiences back. It reminded me of the success we had with my film, Ee Rojullo." He added that a small film's success gives the courage to make a hundred more, and he wholeheartedly congratulated the team.
Praise from Industry Insiders
Other prominent guests at the event also shared their admiration. Director Rahul Ravindran said he "laughed my heart out" and became a fan of Mouli's performance. Writer BVS Ravi noted that he saw audience members watching the film for the "third or fourth time," proving its repeat value and calling it the "best comedy film" he has seen recently. Director KV Anudeep expressed his delight at seeing the young and talented team achieve such a big success.
Producer SKN also weighed in on the film's impressive run. He mentioned that the film's success has brought recognition to even the producers, which is rare. He assured fans that the movie won’t be on OTT anytime soon and encouraged them to continue watching it in theaters until the release of Power Star's OG.
