The practice of new heroes emerging from film families is quite high in the Tollywood circuit and while it is a fact that not all of them have been successful, the attempts still continue. This time, it is the turn of the Daggubati family. Daggubati Abhiram, second son of Daggubati Suresh and younger brother of the towering hunk Daggubati Rana is all set to make his debut as the hero.
He is making his foray through the movie 'Ahimsa' being helmed by Teja. The discussion now is, can Abhiram shine with this project. For starters, the songs by RP Patnaik have brought some buzz but the attention factor is still missing. While the post production works are in full swing, it is also heard that Rana is taking very personal interest and care to ensure the film has the right release and gets the right result at the box office.
While this is the practical part, let us look at the possible part. For any hero or movie to shine, the most important aspect is the content. If 'Ahimsa' can deliver that, then it is going to be a good debut not just for Abhiram but also a very good comeback for director Teja. Also, if Abhiram can deliver at least above average performance as an artiste, that would give him a positive foundation. The film is expected to release sometime during February or March so here's wishing 'Ahimsa' the best of success.
