With the advent of OTTs into our lives, the way we look at entertainment has changed. Audience now has access to some of the finest content and obviously it also leads to comparisons and better standards of expectation. In this regard, the Korean form of entertainment has created a revolution of sorts. As per latest reports, Netflix is planning for extensive Korean content as 34 new shows are being planned. On the other hand, Korean has become the 7th most learned language in the world as per Golingo app. Recently, more than 20 words of Korean origin have been added to the dictionary. This is how Korean culture is making its presence felt. Right from K-pop, K-dramas, food, culture, the impact is huge and now the language might be the next big thing.

Speaking about entertainment, one discussion that is happening is, can our tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli make Telugu beat Korean. As of today, Telugu stands at 16th rank in the most spoken languages worldwide while Korean is at 23rd. But, before it can overtake, some are hoping Rajamouli can stop it. As such, Rajamouli has taken the brand and fame of Telugu cinema worldwide through his movies like 'Baahubali' and with his last venture 'RRR' he has drawn international acclaim by winning prestigious awards.

Now he is embarking on a project which is further ambitious. Featuring superstar Mahesh Babu, the film is touted to be an adventurous treat on the lines of the Hollywood flick Indiana Jones. It is heard that the shooting of this film will happen across several countries and Rajamouli is leaving no stone unturned to ensure this project will excite even the Hollywood audience. It is heard that this is going to be made as a franchisee thing by having multiple parts.

If what he is aspiring to do really materializes, it is certain to draw the entire world's attention towards the Telugu language. And just like how the Korean language is creating a sensation presently, there are good chances that our language also might get that kind of traction from different parts of the globe. Well, our hopes rest on Rajamouli and his efforts now so here's wishing him the very best of success!
