A YouTuber from Andhra Pradesh, named Venkatesh Narasiayya Alluri, was arrested on Sunday for barging into the wedding venue of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant without an invite. His age is 26.
Besides him, a businessman named Lukman Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, aged 28, was also arrested. Both entered the venue together.
"Separate cases have been registered against them. They came from Andhra Pradesh to attend the wedding. The police have released the accused after giving them notice and taking legal action in both cases," ANI has quoted Mumbai Police as saying.
The security lapse at the wedding is a bit shocking. The Ambani wedding has seen the attendance of VVIPs and none other than the Prime Minister himself.
Celebrity weddings are easy to gain access to. But the Ambani wedding should have been impossible for any security lapse. After all, you are talking about the most protected wedding venue in the history of the country.
