YouTuber Harsha Sai has been booked under IPC sections related to rape, blackmail, and more. Mitraaw Sharma, a producer and celebrity, is the one who lodged the complaint.
The woman's lawyer on Wednesday told a TV channel that Harsha Sai had cheated her very cleverly. "Harsha Sai and my client are associated with a grand pan-Indian movie titled 'MEGA'. The victim, Mitraaw Sharma, is producing it. She attained popularity with her Bigg Boss OTT participation a few years ago. The Teaser glimpse of 'MEGA' garnered more than 10 million views. It was Harsha Sai who approached my client in 2022 with a proposal that he will headline a movie. He requested her to produce it. My client saw potential and launched the movie. She even provided him with a villa to stay in Hyderabad during the making of 'MEGA'. Mitraaw was once intoxicated by Harsha Sai while in the villa. He recorded her objectionably and blackmailed her," the lawyer said.
The lawyer added, "When Mitraaw threatened to drag him to court, Harsha Sai's father promised her that his son would like to marry her. This happened in September 2022. 'MEGA' was yet to be shot at that time. After the film's Teaser glimpse became a massive hit, Harsha Sai started claiming copyrights of 'MEGA', saying that the film will be the next 'Baahubali'. His blackmailing only got worse with time."
