Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that the State Government approved 'Jaya Jayahe Telangana' as the Telangana state song.
The state song has been produced in two versions. The first version of the song will be 2.30 minutes, and the second version of the full song will be 13.30 minutes. The CM announced that a short song with a duration of 2.30 minutes and three stanzas in full song will be used in official government programmes. The two songs will be considered as state Songs. On this occasion, the singer group headed by Keeravani crooned the song and entertained the participants in the meeting.
On the eve of completion of 10 years of the formation of Telangana state on June 2, the government is already making arrangements for the decennial fete of state formation day on a grand scale. The state song will be released during the celebrations.
