Telangana Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, along with senior officials, convened a meeting at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat on Thursday to review preparations for the upcoming State Formation Day celebrations.
Scheduled to commence from 7 PM to 9 PM on June 2nd, the festivities will kick off with a parade from Tank Bund, featuring floats showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Telangana. Various folk and tribal art forms, along with performances, will add colour to the event. To ensure smooth proceedings without any disruptions, authorities emphasised the need for strict enforcement measures.
Police bands, along with the rendition of "Jaya Jayahe Telangana," the state song, will accompany the flag hoisting ceremony. Elaborate arrangements have been made to showcase the state's vibrant cultural legacy, including food courts, shopping stalls, and gaming zones, to engage visitors.
