Former BRS MLA Jeevan Reddy Accused in Land Dispute

Former BRS MLA Ashannagari Jeevan Reddy and his family members find themselves embroiled in a legal tussle following a land dispute near Earlapally village. The controversy arose when Sama Damodhar Reddy, a 66-year-old trader, lodged a complaint on May 22, 2024.

According to Damodhar Reddy, the complainant, he procured 20 acres and 20 guntas of land in survey numbers 32, 35, 36, and 38 on the outskirts of Earlapally Village back in 2002. Over the years, he developed a function hall named after his late father, Parmareddy, and has maintained rightful possession of the land.

However, trouble began in 2023 when Damodhar Reddy alleges that Ashannagari Jeevan Reddy, along with his wife Rajitha and mother Rajubai, encroached upon half of his land. Allegedly, they razed the function hall to the ground and erected a new structure in its place without authorization. Attempts by Damodhar Reddy and his family to address the issue were met with resistance.
