Tensions escalated at Gun Park as leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged a protest demanding the immediate release of the job calendar, as promised by the Congress party in response to growing unemployment concerns. The protest, aimed at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlights the mounting pressure for action on employment issues highlighted in the Telangana Congress manifesto during the assembly elections.
It is pertinent to note that the Congress manifesto had pledged to address unemployment by providing transparent job calendars to the public. However, with delays in fulfilling this commitment by the Congress government, the political parties were quick to bank on it and began their protests.
