B. Anil Kumar, Mandal Agricultural Officer, Narsapur Mandal, Medak District was caught red handed, when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.30,000 from the Complainant a trader from Salura Camp in Bodhan Mandal to process the application and to forward the same for issuance of trade licence on the name of Shiva Shakti Agro Agencies, Narsapur.
The bribe amount of Rs.30,000 was recovered from the possession of the A.O at the instance and the fingers of both hands tested positive in the Chemical test.
Thus the Officer has performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage. He was arrested and produced before the Addl. Special Judge for ACB Cases Court at Hyderabad.
