Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi seems to stuck to her words given to the Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy. Vijayalakshmi who recently joined with the Congress Party, has now brought in hundred more corporators to join the Congress party on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
It's been close to four months since Congress party came to power in the state of Telangana and several leaders from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders continue to flock to the Indian National Congress party in Telangana. In December 2023, Congress formed the government for the first time after the state separation. Several leaders are lining up to join with this revival of the Congress party.
Earlier, several MLAs, councillors and other former leaders have also joined the Congress party. Meanwhile, the state of Telangana is heading for the parliamentary elections to fill its 17 Lok Sabha constituencies.
