Breaking: Delhi CM Kejriwal Arrested In Delhi Liquor Case

The central investigative forces, primarily the Enforcement Directorate and CBI have been actively pursuing the Delhi Liquor Policy case over the last few months. The ED had arrested KCR's daughter K Kavitha with regard to the case.

Now, the ED has taken a major step forward as the ED sleuths have arrested the chief minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy case.

According to the media reports, Kejriwal was arrested at his official residence in Delhi just a few minutes ago and he is in ED's custody now. He will be presented in front of a judicial body tomorrow.

The ED reportedly presented Kejriwal's arrest order in front of Delhi Governor which is a mandatory step before the central forces arrest the chief minister of a state.

Arresting a chief minister just two months before the election doesn't happen often and the NDA government has taken a pretty daring decision in this regard, we must say. This comes shortly after Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren was also arrested by the ED two months ago.
