Singer Mangli and two others were on Sunday travelling by their four-wheeler on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway. They were returning from a spiritual festival.
As per early media reports, the famous playback singer of Telugu movies like 'Balagam' escaped with minor injuries after the car in which she was seated was hit by a truck at Thondupalli bridge.
As per the police, Mangli and others were there at the Kanha Shanti Vanam to attend the global spirituality Mahotsav. The same is located in Kanha village, Chegur, Telangana. Mangli's vehicle hit a DCM that was approaching from the opposite direction. Fortunately, she escaped with minor injuries and so also the others in the car.
Mangli shot to fame with the title track from Naga Chaitanya's 'Shailaja Reddy Alludu' in 2018. 'Vaadu Nadipe Bandi' from 'George Reddy' and others are her famous songs. She is also a TV presenter, actress, and a channel advisor to Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel.
