Providence India, a specialised global healthcare engineering, operations, and innovation centre, today launched a new office facility in Hyderabad. The hub was inaugurated by Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu. Present on the occasion were US Consul General – Hyderabad Jennifer Larson; Providence President and CEO Rod Hochman, M.D.; Providence CIO B.J. Moore; Chief Global Officer Murali Krishna, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, D Sridhar Babu said that the government is happy to see Providence expand its world-class infrastructural footprint in Hyderabad. He described the talent at the company as top-tier. "I am delighted to note that 2,000 more jobs will be added by 2025. This serves as a testament to our government's commitment to supporting industries that facilitate innovation and technological development in Telangana," he added.
The expanded new state-of-the-art offices are spread across about five lakh sq ft in Hi-Tech City. The Global Innovation Centre offers specialized capabilities to enable AI- and data-driven digital transformation in healthcare. "Our new facility marks a new chapter in our journey as the hub for health-tech innovation. Cloud, cybersecurity, clinical applications and digital solutions, data and advanced analytics, product development, process automation, digital operations, enterprise services, and emerging tech like GenAI have been tapped into at the GIC," said Murali Krishna, Chief Global Officer and Country Head, Providence India.
A factsheet by Providence says that the company has employed 1,21,000 caregivers worldwide. Its network includes 51 hospitals and 1,000 clinics.
