The party that granted Telangana is now in dire straits. Forget about gaining power, it’s now struggling to even maintain the principal opposition status. Most of the seniors Telangana have launched a massive revolt with only one aim – the ouster of Revanth as TPCC chief.
Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy, former PCC chief and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy, former deputy CM Damodar Raj Narasimha along with former MP Madhu Yashki Goud, Yeleti Maheshwar Reddy, former minister M Kodanda Reddy and Premsagar Rao attended the meeting at the residence of Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
They lamented that Revanth’s TDP deserters who moved to Congress have destroyed the “Original Congress” and the batch of migrant leaders are planning to completely usurp and destroy Congress party’s roots. They launched the “Save Congress Movement” which also won support from Bhongir Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
