Speaking to the media on Thursday, Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy invited a few key leaders to re-join the Congress party. As elections are nearing, he issues an open statement to leaders like Vivek Venkataswamy, Etala Rajender, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy, and others to join the Congress in order to defeat the BRS in Telangana.
He also asked other leaders to join the party to fight the BRS. He alleged that Etala, Vivek, and others joined the BJP in anger. A few others joined only because of the trust they have in the party, despite their ideologies being out of sync.
He said that the Congress Party is like a mother; anyone can join the party. Those who left the party recently were called to come back to Congress. Revanth said that the entire country is discussing the results of Karnataka, and the Congress party is going to come to power in Telangana too. He also mentioned that Sonia Gandhi and Kharge are the leaders of Congress, and he is not.
He said that the KCR government in the state is running on the path of the BJP government at the centre. It has been announced that BC policy will be introduced in Telangana, and BC will be roaring in the state soon. He reminded the people here that it was Congress that gave importance to the BCs in TS.
