Key political parties have already begun their election campaigns in the state ahead of Assembly elections. While the Congress and BJP announced “Haat se haat yatra”, unemployment protest rally, padayatras, and others, BRS, too started its promotional activities in the state.
Just yesterday, the party opened its national office in Delhi.
Today, BRS Ashweerada Sabha was organized at Husnabad in Siddipet district where IT Minister KT Rama Rao was the chief guest.
Speaking there, KTR made a key announcement. He announced the first MP candidate from BRS for the upcoming Parliament elections. KTR announced in the Husnabad Sabha that Boinapally Vinod Kumar will contest on behalf of BRS in the coming elections from Karimnagar Parliament seat.
Boinapally Vinod Kumar, who contested from Karimnagar parliamentary seat on behalf of BRS in the last election, lost to Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay. As a result, the BRS government entrusted him with the responsibilities of the State Planning Commission as Vice-Chairman with Cabinet status. This year again, he will contest from Karimnagar and KTR asked the people there to vote for him and make him win for a bright Telangana.
