BRS chief and Telangana state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated the Dr. BR Ambedkar Secretariat today in Hyderabad in a grand opening ceremony.
During the opening ceremony, KCR spoke a lot about the development of the state so far in their nine year tenure, while also lashing out at the opposition.
Meanwhile, the CM announced good news for contract employees in Telangana.
KCR signed the petition filed to regularise contract employees.
Regularising contract employees is a long-pending issue, and as a gift to them on the opening of the new Secretariat, he made his first sign on the file.
As of now, there are 5,544 contract workers in Telangana.
Minister Harish Rao announced the news through his Twitter handle today.
