Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal interim bail petition will be heard in Delhi High Court on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Arvind Kejriwal who was in judicial custody, in connection with the Delhi liquor policy scam, was sent to Tihar jail.
The interim bail petition was heard on March 27th, 2024 in Delhi High Court. Further the court ordered the ED to submit their counter by April 2 and scheduled the next hearing for April 3. The court observed that it is pertinent to hear both sides fairly, keeping in mind the principles of natural justice and asked ED to submit their counter on the same by April 2.
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 with charges of corruption in connection with the Delhi liquor policy scam. The special PMLA court in Delhi, had remanded Arvind Kejriwal for ED custody for Ten days before he was shifted to Tihar jail. Presently Arvind Kejriwa was lodged in Tihar jail.
