Today, Tamil hero Vijay announced that he is set to enter politics and will quit making films once he is done with his upcoming film, Thalapathy69 which is to be announced soon.
The political entry of Vijay has now brought trolls on Pawan Kalyan as a few netizens are pointing out that Vijay is showing how a serious politician act as he announced he is quitting films to be active in politics.
In the case of Pawan Kalyan, regardless of his honest intentions, his to-and-fro journey to films meant that his political career got subsided. Acting in films while being active in politics gave a public impression that Pawan is not a serious politician and this worked against hi cause in Andhra Pradesh politics.
Perhaps Vijay took a lesson from this book and that is the reason why he decided to quit films for the sake of politics. But the important thing is for him to stand by this statement.
Vijay announced that his political party will be active in Tamil Nadu politics from now itself but won't contest in the coming Lok Sabha elections and instead contest in the coming assembly elections which are in 2026.
