The 'pran pratishtha' of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be held on January 22. Ahead of the religiously significant day, Dr. Mohan Babu has performed special poojas in the Film Nagar Daiva Sannidhanam.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Babu reminded everyone that he was recently sworn in for the post of Chairman of the Daiva Sannidhanam Temple. "The temple houses eighteen statues and is served by fifteen priests. Devotees believe that praying here fulfils their wishes," he said.
Mohan Babu thanked PM Narendra Modi over the Ayodhya Ram Temple inaugural. The iconic actor said that he is unable to attend the event in Ayodhya despite an invite. "I wrote a letter seeking an apology for being not able to attend the grand event due to security reasons," Mohan Babu told the media.
Chief priest Rambabu said that a grand Sri Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsavam will be held on the evening of January 21 (Sunday).
Mohan Babu has come in for appreciation from the temple administration for participating in the poojas with religious fervour.
