TTD issue: Good that YSRCP is training guns on TDP government

Several media reports have said that the Telangana government has sought a share in the revenues of the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam from the Andhra Pradesh government. The reports surfaced on Saturday evening after a meeting between Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy.

While the TDP has officially condemned the reports, saying that they are false, the YSRCP is doing the right thing by training the guns on the ruling party. On Sunday, YSRCP's official social media handles questioned the AP CM over the reports published by the pro-TDP media like Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy.

Vijayasai Reddy took to X and wrote that the AP government should not cede space if Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has indeed made a demand on Tirumala's revenues. "If the rumours that Telangana is eyeing a share in TTD and a part of AP’s coastline and ports are true, then I urge the AP CM to ask for a share in Hyderabad’s revenue. The AP government should not place the friendship between the two CMs over the interests of the people of AP," the Rajya Sabha MP, who is also the YSRCP's National General Secretary, added.
