A violent altercation broke out between two families and resulted in serious injuries to two women and a young man in the limits of Kancharapalem Police Station in Visakhapatnam.
The incident, which swiftly gained traction on social media platforms, took a political turn and it was shared that this incident is due to their voting preferences. And it was alleged that the attacks were by the YSRCP party cadre.
However, in response to the politicization of the incident, the Visakhapatnam's Kancharapalem police clarified that the altercation had no political motives behind it. Instead, they asserted that the conflict stemmed from long standing tensions between neighbouring families, devoid of any political influence or agenda.
