Though the time for the polling ended at around 6pm, the polling continues to be done in Andhra Pradesh, as there are scores of people still lined up in their queues in the polling booths.
It is estimated that polling would continue till 10pm and security arrangements are being made accordingly by the Election commission. Meanwhile, police are also doing a strict vigilance at respective booths.
As of 8pm, the state has recorded a voting percent of 68.2 and is expected to cross 70 percent with the announcement of final update.
