In Mandi Krishnapuram, Gudipala Mandal at Booth Number 220, a YSRCP agent, Suresh Reddy was stabbed allegedly by a Telugu Desam Party person, Chandra in broad daylight. Andhra Pradesh is going for the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls on May 13, 2024. The results are set to be declared on June 4, 2024.
According to the sources, the both clashed even during the previous Sarpanch elections in the past years. Today, another clash ensued, resulting with the TDP resorting to open violence. The TDP leader confronted the YSRCP agent outside the polling station and stabbed him. The victim was soaked in blood and has been shifted to the hospital, where treatment is being given for the wounds.
