Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the most reputed film celebrities and former political figures in the Telugu states. Incidentally, he was first scheduled to go to AP on 11 May and campaign for Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram constituency.
However, this plan got halted at the last minute and Chiranjeevi decided not to get involved with Pawan Kalyan’s JanaSena directly.
Chiranjeevi on Friday, said, "I am neutral to any political party. I am not going to Pithapuram for campaigning, neither did my brother Pawan Kalyan call me to campaign. They leave it to my comfort."

He mentioned releasing a video to show his support to Pawan Kalyan. Chiranjeevi emphasized that he and his family always wish for Pawan Kalyan's success. He has decided not to partake in Pawan’s campaign directly
